JJ Borja Nathan is a family run business, founded in 1890.  It is dedicated to producing, processing and exporting coffee. Currently, it is a leading company in the high-quality gourmet and specialty coffee sectors, exporting to many parts of the world, with a strategic alliance with Ecom Coffee from Switzerland.  The coffee mill has a capacity to process over 60,000 45-kilo bags.

The coffee farms are located in the Apaneca-Lamatepec volcanic chain, which is characterized by steep, mountainous terrain and volcanic soil, ideal for the cultivation of coffee.
