Three large companies compose this prestigious group, led by Diario El Mundo, a leading newspaper offering concise and objective news about both local and global issues.

Founded by Dr. Juan José Borja Nathan as an evening paper, it first reached the hands of the public on the 6^th of February 1967.

During its entire 51 year existence, Diario El Mundo has learned to modernize and adapt to new tendencies, such as when it successfully became a morning paper for the first time on the 2^nd of June 2004.

Currently Diario El Mundo has continued to evolve and integrate new companies and digital platforms into its team in order to fortify its connection with its readers as well as to offer digital solutions to its clients.

With that vision, El Mundo Publishing has become one of the largest publishers in El Salvador, through its sister companies:

Rapimundo

Founded in 2008 to provide urgent internal logistics and product orders solutions in El Salvador. It currently counts on a logistics and distribution center which relies on a mapping system that outlines and distributes based on zone and house position.

Printing Division: Created in 2007 with machines that use MO point technology and SpeedMaster (Deidelberg) to produce offset products, and a Goss printing technology and suppliers for newspaper printing. Rapimundo has produced over 2 million prints for both governmental and private institutions.
